The Accoras Team
Accoras has been delivering mental health and wellbeing services for South-East Queensland children, young people and families for 30 years. In 2021, we launched our Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program, working with 7-17 year-olds in Logan/Beaudesert who have severe and complex mental health needs and reduced psychosocial functional capacity. Our CPSP is highly effective and we know we are making a real difference, so our team is growing to help us meet the needs of our local young people.
The Role
As a Mental Health Clinician, you’ll work within a shared-care model alongside Child, Youth and Family Practitioners. You will deliver interventions for children and adolescents (and their families) designed to improve their social skills and build their psychological and functional capacity, using a case management approach alongside clinical interventions to provide holistic support.
This is a full-time, fixed term contract until 30 June 2023, with contract extensions aligned to funding renewals. Working from our brand new office located in Yarrabilba, you will provide outreach support in client homes and schools within the Logan/Beaudesert region, with all work-related travel reimbursed.
