Mental Health Clinicians: Social Worker
(Permanent Part-time available)
Wyndham Clinic is a purpose built private mental health service in Werribee, offering a range of inpatient and outpatient therapy programs. Inpatient units include a general adult mental health service and a drug and alcohol service. Outpatient programs are based in CBT, ACT, DBT, and alcohol and drug relapse prevention.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced or new grad clinician to join the Wyndham Clinic Therapy Team. We are currently looking for a Social Worker interested in a part-time role.
The roles involve providing quality, evidence-based therapy to clients engaged in both inpatient and outpatient group therapy programs, as well as mental health assessment and brief interventions.

- Passion and dedication to tailoring therapeutic practice to improve client outcomes
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Postgraduate mental health qualification and current AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist or a Social Worker with a recognised degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership for the Association of Australian Social Workers
- A current Working with Children’s Certificate and Police Check
Desirable Qualities
- Experience in providing assessment and evidence-based therapies to individuals and groups with a variety of clinical presentations, preferably in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Competence and interest in CBT, Mindfulness, ACT, and/or DBT skills
- Knowledge of and experience in AOD relapse prevention techniques and/or emotion dysregulation
- Competence and interest in AOD assessment and therapies
- Knowledge and skills in developing and delivering therapeutic group programs
- Previous clinical experience working in private and or Public mental health settings
