The role on offer
We have numerous opportunities to service our footprint with work face to face and telehealth services. As the Mental Health Clinician reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager, Mental Health, you will deliver psychological services to people eligible under Strong Minds Western.
Strong Minds targets services to those individuals requiring psychological care who are not likely to be able to have their needs met through Medicare subsidized mental health services.
Who we are looking for
Successful candidates will possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant clinical discipline (Psychology, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, Mental Health Accredited Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Accredited Nursing) and registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership to relevant professional body and have:
- Experience in the delivery of a range of evidence-based treatments relevant to working with people with a mental illness (particularly behavioural and CBT intervention).
- Ability to use a clinical software package for electronic client records.
- Experience in, and/or willingness to, use new and advancing technologies to deliver health services (such as Telehealth) and provide outreach services.
