About the Role

  • x2 Full Time or Part Time (0.8 FTE) Permanent Positions
  • Classification: Nurses Award 2020 Level 2 with a salary range of $93,168 – $97,891 or Health Professional & Support Services Award 2020 Level 2 with a salary range of $88,406 – $98,899 per annum pro rata + Superannuation

About your new role

The Mental Health Clinicians are exciting roles responsible for providing high quality services to consumers experiencing mental health crisis presenting to the service.

As an Allied Health Professional, the Mental Health Clinician will draw on their discipline skills, engage with the consumers, other clinicians, the consumer’s treatment team, Neami Lived Experience staff and family/friends/carers to provide high quality assessments and interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes for consumers accessing the service.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Formal tertiary qualification in Nursing, Pyschology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
  • Accredited full registration with a professional governing body such as AHPRA, AASW
  • Experience working as a member of multi-disciplinary team with the ability to inspire and facilitate team commitment and cooperation.
  • Experience working across a range of Commonwealth and Stafe funded mental health programs and ensuring implementation in line with funding requirements and contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to form and nuture partnerships with government and non-government mental health, emergency and community service providers.

What the role requires:

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) – disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check – required before commencement of work
  • Current Nursing AHPRA and/or AASW registration
  • Current drivers licence
  • Australian working rights
