The Lorn Surgery in Maitland currently manages the practices of 10 GPs, 2 non-GP specialists and 7 allied health providers. We hold dual accreditation with AGPAL and NDIS.
To serve the growing needs of the Maitland community we are seeking an adult registered psychologist/accredited mental health social worker ($120-140k) or clinical psychologist ($150-170k) to join our clinic. Full-time and part-time applicants welcome.
You will join four GPs with special interests in mental health and neurodiversity, two adult psychologists and a dietitian with a special interest in eating disorders.
Maitland has a community mental health team and both public and private inpatient mental health units. The Calvary Mater Hospital in Newcastle (30min drive) has a PICU and tertiary referral inpatient unit.
Maitland is semi-rural with a population of 80,000. It is 35 minutes from Newcastle’s CBD and beaches, 30min from the Hunter valley Wineries and 15min from the end of the M1 (Pacific Motorway).
