Job Description

We are looking for Mental Health Intake and Triage Team Member who can provide exceptional customer service to support clients to engage in Access Psych’s mental health services through the provision of an intake process and risk assessment, ensuring that the wellbeing of our clients remains priority.  

This role can be completed from any location across Australia and it can also be completed from a suitable home office. We are seeking a strong team player, who can work hard and work efficiently but who will also be a positive contributor to the Access Psych team culture.

Whilst ideally we are seeking a full-time team member, we would also consider a part-time arrangement. The Access Psych Intake and Triage team operates between 8am and 8pm so there is flexibility to work mornings, afternoons or evenings or a combination of all.

Working as part of a dynamic team of mental health professionals, we want team members who can build rapport with clients and support them to take the first steps in seeking mental health treatment.

Be your best in a supportive team environment, completing the following tasks:

  • Manage incoming calls and emails, and provide customer service to colleagues, clients and customers. 

  • Assess risk and determine appropriate response to ensure the wellbeing of the client. 

  • Obtain all client details required to schedule appointments. 

  • Work with the Access Psych team to match clients to appropriate clinicians. 

  • Respond to all client enquiries with accuracy and professionalism. 

  • Book appointments and manage calendars 

  • Use and maintenance of Access Psych’s client database system, including accurate data entry 

  • Ensure client privacy by maintaining confidentiality in accordance with relevant legislation and Access Psych policies. 

  • Answer all calls within KPI timeframes.
