We are seeking a passionate Original Employer Service (OES) consultant to join our successful, multi-disciplinary team based in Melbourne. You will have the drive to succeed in your career whilst helping people obtain new employment!
 
We are interested in hearing from candidates seeking a full time OR part time position.
 
You will be qualified as either a:

  • Rehabilitation Counsellor, Registered Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse, or Occupational Therapist (experience in mental health services highly desired)
  • Relevant professional memberships mandatory (AHPRA, ASORC or RCAA)

You’ll also need

  • An interest or experience in occupational rehabilitation service provision;
  • Current Police clearance and Working with Children Check;
  • Current driver license and vehicle (vehicle use reimbursement is provided);
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving;
  • Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
  • Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.

Day to day you will be:

  • Assisting injured people in returning to work;
  • Delivering counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances;
  • Case management across various jurisdictions including WorkSafe Victoria, Life Insurance, Comcare and private industry;
  • Liaison with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients;
  • Working collaboratively with your colleagues in developing strategies and best practice for case management.
