Mental Health Practitioner Bloom Well-being

JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to exciting growth, we have multiple full-time positions (part-time considered) for experienced Allied Health Professionals. 

About Bloom Well-being:

Bloom Well-being is a small multi-disciplinary private practice with an integrative and evidence-based approach to client care, specialising in trauma presentations for people of all ages. 

Located in Creswick, only a short scenic drive from many regional towns including: Ballarat, Daylesford, Maryborough, Beaufort and Ballan. 

Our established clinic is a warm and nurturing, ‘home like’ environment, where we offer a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to standard therapy, with a river and walking trail nearby. Our approach to therapy is flexible and client-led and values holding clients voices as the experts of their own story.

  • Incentives to meet achievable KPIs – maximum 6 clients per day.

You have (KSC):

  • Eligibility for Medicare provider number as relevant: AHMSW, Psychologists MHOT, MHN | or other tertiary qualified and experienced professionals such as Speech Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietician’s or Chiropractors. 
    A minimum of two years experience is required.
  • Experience working with diverse age ranges 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to completing reports as requested (eg: VOCAT reports)
  • Commitment to professional development, and supervision as required by relevant regulation body.
  • Ability to work autonomously 
  • Relevant professional indemnity insurance, WWCC + Police Check
  • Emotional intelligence, compassion and passion for supporting clients 

Highly regarded

  • Knowledge of the following systems as potential referral pathways: NDIS, VOCAT, WorkSafe, TAC and Open Arms. 
  • Experience and/or further training within the following sectors: family violence, sexual abuse, and complex trauma.
  • Clinicians who have completed EMDR Level 1 and/or 2 and are working towards/have obtained EMDR Practitioner Accreditation.
