As a headspace team member, you will work under the direction of the CEO of The Youth Health Service Inc (The Link) who is the Lead Agency for headspace Hobart.
The Link has multiple opportunities for suitably qualified mental health practitioners to join the team! Both full time and part time positions are available. As there are so many opportunities it would be best to email to obtain the position description for the role you are interested in.
The following roles are available:
- Allied Health Clinician (various opportunities available)
- Clinical Lead (up to full time)
- Private Mental Health Clinician/General Practitioner contractor – various (1 session per week through to full time available with no administration fees for the right applicant).
The organisation
headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year old’s. headspace can help young people with mental health, physical health (including sexual health, alcohol and other drug services, and work and study support.
The Link is a unique not-for-profit organisation that facilitates various youth mental health services, including the headspace Hobart program, throughout Southern Tasmania. Their services are free and have been making a real difference in the lives of 12–25 year old’s in the region since 1990.
The Link provides high quality primary and clinical health services as well as information, advice and referral services. They work across the health sector in developing innovative and responsive models of service. They also assist in delivering training and support to other professionals and the wider community. They strive to excel in the delivery of evidence-based, primary and clinical health services to young people by strengthening partnerships with government, private and community sectors and engaging service users and the community.
