Hours: 1.6FTE Available (x2 0.8FTE positions) Ongoing

Location: Northern Centre Elizabeth and/or Sonder Edinburgh North

Service Opening Hours: 8am – 6pm + Weekends (Negotiable)

 

About the Role:

As the Mental Health Practitioner, you will sit in a multidisciplinary and multi-organisational team. The aim is to deliver focused, low intensity evidence based individual and/or group therapeutic options and supporting families, carers and/or supports in a Primary Mental Health Care (PMHC) setting. Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment. 
  • Relevant experience working in the area of mental health. 
  • Experience in delivery of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and other evidence based interventions. 
  • Experience in assessing and treating clients with a range of mental health and/or alcohol and other drug problems 

 

Qualification and Other Requirements:

  • As per Adelaide PHN Credentialing Guidelines for CSPs – Version 2, this should be at a minimum:  

a) Registered membership with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) – provisional or clinical; or 

b) Membership with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) (any level); or a Tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline or equivalent (including psychology, occupational therapy or social work) 

  • Drivers Licence 
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
