The Opportunity
The Mental Health Professional – Virtual Clinic role is an element of Amplar Health’s Virtual Psychology Clinic pilot and combines the tasks of a Psychologist within the pilot with telehealth counseling and/or mental health triage.
The Virtual Clinical role provides psychological assessment and treatment services directly to individual clients who may be Medibank Private Health Insurance members or referred to the service by GPs or other referrers working with our partner and other health service providers. The role is responsible for all elements of this service provision including clinical service delivery, patient record maintenance, quality management, outcome evaluation, accurate billing, referrer correspondence and reporting.
About You
We are looking for Psychologists who share our vision to shift the way healthcare is provided in Australia. As an experienced clinician, you love to make a difference in the lives of Australians by providing high-level psychological support, mental health education; and appropriate psychological r interventions
This role suits a qualified, fully AHPRA-registered Psychologist (unrestricted). You will have a minimum of 5 years’ post-registration experience delivering psychological assessment, treatment planning and intervention services in a manner consistent with delivery of MBS-funded ‘focused psychological strategies
