The role
Fixed term, part time (0.4FTE) 2 days a week Mental Health Professional. 

This position can be based at Adelaide Office (Wingfield) or a Work from Home opportunity if you are based interstate.

Provide psychological support to rural and remote health workers through one of our flagship services, the Bush Support Line, and work in partnership with our mental health education team. 

  • Deliver high-quality, consumer-centred counselling and psychological services as defined within our Bush Support Line Service Model.
  • Contribute expertise in the design and implementation of resources, including online resources and workshops. 
  • Work across the Mental Health & Wellbeing team to support workshop delivery, development of resources, involvement in projects, and contribution towards service model and funding growth. 
     

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a dynamic and energised professional ready to join our team and hit the ground running! 

  • Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or related mental health professional. 
  • AHPRA registration or associated industry board (APS, AASW)
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of psychological interventions and services, desirably across a range of mediums or platforms. 
  • Understanding of clinical care delivery in rural and remote health settings, and key presentations and issues impacting rural and remote communities. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of culturally safe practices, and the ability to work respectfully, effectively, and collaboratively with culturally diverse communities, including First Peoples communities.
  • Your availability will include coverage for shifts Thursday & Friday 8am-1pm AEST (and AEDT during daylight savings).
