Boab Health Services is a not-for-profit, multidisciplinary primary health care service delivering allied health, mental health, and care coordination services throughout the Kimberley.
This is a unique and rare opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Professional (psychologist, mental health nurse, occupational therapist, Aboriginal health practitioner or social worker) to join our organisation delivering mental health services to the people of Broome and the surrounding communities.
About the role
This position will provide initial mental health assessment, screening and triage of clients experiencing high prevalence mental health issues, or clients at risk of suicide or self-harm. It will also provide mental health services to adults experiencing a persistent complex mental health condition(s) with the goal of assisting them to stabilise and manage their condition(s) within the primary health care setting.

You will have post registration experience with evidence based psychological interventions. Your experience, compassion, and motivation to collaborate with Aboriginal people and in rural and remote mental health care will be highly regarded. You will have AHPRA registration (if applicable to your discipline) and relevant professional association membership.
