About the Reform Team

The Reform Team is a collaborative, high performing team that was established to facilitate delivery Monash Health’s mental health reform agenda. The team plays a key role in ensuring robust project governance, driving initiatives and building improvement capability related to mental health reform. The team draws on a variety of improvement, project and change management methodologies and engages stakeholders at all levels to lead change and respectfully challenge the status quo.

About The Role

This role involves providing project advice and expertise that facilitates the delivery of the Counsellors Pilot Project. The successful candidate will drive the exploration of a new workforce – Counsellors – working within community mental health care; in partnership with other project team members, people with lived/ living experience, frontline teams, clinical leaders, senior management from the Mental Health Program, and Monash Health Executives.

About You

The ideal candidate will have expertise in the facilitation of process improvement and redesign; delivery of small-medium complex projects in a health setting; and, have the acumen to influence, collaborate and build sustainable relationships with all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders. The candidate will require strong data and digital literacy skills to foster a data-driven culture of decision making.

What You Need

  • Experience working in healthcare industry and/or healthcare consulting or advisory roles with demonstrated success in leading practice improvement initiatives
  • Data and digital literacy skills
  • Certification in improvement science/ redesign is desirable
  • Project management and/or change management certification is desirable
  • Relevant undergraduate tertiary qualification
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Australian working rights
