Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to fill a Mental Health Support Worker position with the Port Lincoln Community Mental Health (MH) Team.
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will contribute to providing a comprehensive and integrated range of evidenced based, recovery-oriented services across the multi-disciplinary Eyre and Far North Local Health Network Mental Health appropriate to the needs of the consumer and the local community.
Under the supervision of a Clinician, you will provide a range of non-clinical, integrated psychosocial support services to mental health consumers across community, acute and rehabilitation service settings. You will work to assist consumers and service providers to understand the concept of recovery and rehabilitation and serve as a recovery and wellness/information role.
