Positive Care Solutions are an organisation located in the Kemps Creek and Rossmore areas in Sydney.
We have several houses being set up to support high complex needs consumers.
We are looking at full, part time and casual experienced support workers who will have the opportunity to gain employment with highly experienced teams. We would welcome applications from Indigenous people.

Pay rates paid as per SCHADS award.
The role
In this role you will deliver a variety of support services to participants assisting them to live a full and meaningful life in the community. Your working day may include (but not limited to), assistance and or support with daily life, including personal care, domestic activities, social and community participation and varying skill development activities.
The ideal candidate will be confident in working with participants with complex needs including intellectual disability, Mental Health and Trauma. You will possess a can do attitude and be a team player while also being able to work autonomously. You will need to have the ability to think on your feet and follow plans.
- Be part of a passionate and supportive team. The position focuses on providing accommodation to venerable individuals who have a Psycho-Social disability and are funded through NDIS.
- To achieve these outcomes of this position, our service will work with a range of external providers, the local area and with relevant health departments.

About you
- Passionate about supporting consumers with Mental Health to empower them to achieve goals.
- Able to follow NDIS’s code of conduct when supporting PCS consumers
- Is compassionate and demonstrates empathy.
- Can handle complex or challenging situations calmly and rationally.
- Reliable and flexible
Essential Selection Criteria
- Cert IV in Mental Health/Disability or similar qualifications (or working towards)
- Ability to support participants to meet their individual goals
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in working with Mental Health or trauma
- Ability to develop skills and encourage independence & healthy relationships
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
- Must hold a Current Full Driver’s License
- Knowledge of NDIS
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- IT / Computer Literacy and ability to use technology for report writing and progress notes
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible hours, with a willingness to work within a 24/7 rotating roster
