Mental Health Support Workers – Holland Park
About the Role: We are seeking experienced and compassionate support workers with a strong background in mental health care, particularly in supporting individuals with complex mental health diagnoses and trauma histories.
This role involves supporting a 59-year-old female participant located in Holland Park, Brisbane. She enjoys going to the gym, having coffee outings, and has requested female support workers only. We aim to fill this position with two candidates who will share the following shifts:
- Wednesdays: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Fridays: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Saturdays: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Sundays: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
About You: To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have a solid background in mental health support and experience with a range of mental health conditions. Ideal candidates will bring empathy, patience, and a strong understanding of trauma-informed care.
Your application will be highly regarded if you have experience working with the following conditions:
- Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) with Pseudo Non-epileptic Seizures
- Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD)
- Persistent Depressive Disorder
- Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
- Schizoaffective Disorder
- Anxiety Disorders
- Hysterical Aphonia
- Vision Impairment
