The Bairnsdale Community Mental Health Service is situated in the heart of Bairnsdale and is a vital service operated by Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH). LRH is the main provider of mental health services across Gippsland with additional Community Services in Traralgon, Sale, Warragul, Wonthaggi and of course Bairnsdale.

Team Manager Bairnsdale responsibilities:
- Supporting staff with their clinical practice and knowledge
- Coordinating all staff and their working rosters
- Ensuring appropriate financial management of the allocated budget
- Leading and supporting the service and staff through Mental Health Reforms

The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill. The regional mental health workforce incentive grants will support the attraction, recruitment, and retention of new workers to Latrobe Regional Hospitals mental health services in regional Victoria. This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $20,000 subject to eligibility and negotiation with successful candidates. This incentive may be used to reimburse rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more!
We’re looking for applicants who:
- Have experience in leading a team to success
- Have a passion for helping others who experience Mental Health issues
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Can work flexibly
- Are highly organised and self-directed
- Has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including their booster vaccination
- Is able to commence by February 2023
