BRACE is a not-for-profit training organisation that has been operating for nearly 50 years, helping people find pathways from education and training into employment. We are part of Community Solutions Group and Endeavour Foundation, one of Australia’s largest disability services providers. We provide supportive education, training and employment programs to a diverse community and have a rich history of inclusivity delivering person centred training to those who face barriers to education and unemployment; and that is where you come in!

If you are joining us with years of training experience, we can provide you with autonomy and flexibility. If you are new to training, we will provide you with all of the support and coaching you need to become a successful, engaging Trainer!

What you will bring

  • TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • CHC43315 Certificate IV Mental Health or higher
  • Current Industry experience in Community Counselling and/or Mental Health 
  • Experience in blended delivery: remote, online, face to face and industry workshops
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students in a compassionate and understanding way; you are a true people person

Additional requirements:

  • A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker’s Screening/Yellow Card, or the willingness to gain one if successful. We will reimburse you the cost on commencement
  • A current and valid Driver’s Licence
  • To ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers, Community Solutions Group requires all authorised workers as defined under the Victorian Public Health Order to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
