ABOUT THE ROLE

Assist vulnerable clients by triaging and referring to internal or external mental health supports. Full time or part time role available.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Min. Cert. IV level qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or Mental Health.
  • Experience in intake, triage or care planning in a community or mental health service.
  • Sound understanding of the mental health sector across primary and tertiary sectors, as well as non-government organisations.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including excellent clinical documentation and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with/or awareness of the issues impacting on Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples, and diverse communities, including LGBTIQ and CALD groups.
  • Evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • Recent or new (employer facilitated) Criminal History Check.  Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically barred from applying for this position.  Each application will be considered on its merits.
