What is Strategy, Impact and Policy?
The Strategy, Impact and Policy Division at headspace is responsible for headspace National’s strategy, policy and evaluation and monitoring functions. Lead by the Executive Director, Strategy, Impact and Policy, the Strategy, Impact and Policy team collaborate and work closely with headspace staff, Executive and Board to drive high impact strategy and policy projects and exemplary business planning and reporting processes.
Tell me about the role…
The primary purpose of this position is to support the comprehensive monitoring of headspace Work and Study programs, including but not limited to the headspace Work and Study services and the headspace Career Mentoring service, both in centres and online.
The role will involve working closely with relevant teams across the organisation including the headspace Work and Study Online Team, and Data and Reporting to ensure the collection and dissemination of appropriate data to meet all internal and external reporting requirements. The Monitoring and Reporting Advisor will also work closely and collaboratively with the other evaluation staff to support high-quality evaluation activity across all headspace National services and programs.
Who we’re looking for;
- Qualifications in social or behavioural sciences, evaluation, health sciences or other relevant discipline with a strong monitoring component.
- Experience in the development and implementation of monitoring and reporting processes within a health, mental health or community care setting.
- Knowledge and/or experience in quantitative research design, data collection, and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience developing analytical reports, and the ability to liaise with and present information to diverse audiences.
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in developing data definitions and business rules for quantitative data collection.
- Experience using data analysis and reporting software, preferably SPSS, NVivo and Tableau.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member.
