ICCare are registered to deliver frontline and support coordination services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and are accredited to deliver out of home care (OOHC) and specialised substitute residential care.

A week in the life of an NDIS Case Manager
You will provide direct support to our frontline employees in the form of leadership and guidance around Participant matters and guidance regarding the practice standards that govern our industry. With your expertise, you’ll enhance the lives and make a difference for the Participants that need our support.
You’ll manage a case load, assist with problem solving and assist with managing complex Participants.
Your role will be diverse, fun and challenging, managing pools of employees to meet rostering requirements for your caseload. You’ll ensure incidents and shift administration of your case load is managed adequately and if required provide guidance and professional advice to those submitting reports. Your responsibilities will include working additional on-call hours on a rotating roster with additional remuneration to thank you for your dedication.
What you need to be successful
- Tertiary qualifications in social science, case management, social work or as a minimum a diploma in community services, mental health, youth work or disability.
- Excellent knowledge and/ or experience in the Disability Service Standards and legislation
- Excellent knowledge and/or experience within the National Disability Insurance Scheme framework
- Experience with the NIDIS portal and online platforms
- Experience in working with people from disadvantage backgrounds
- Proven experience using IT platforms and the ability to quickly learn new technology
- Evidence of a paid working with children check, clearing you to work with children and young people
- Current driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Highly desirable criteria
- Counselling experience to take clients from intake and ongoing services
- Strong knowledge of disability and the community services industry
- Strong knowledge in working with people with mental health challenges
- A strong customer service/administration background.
