We’re looking for a Psychosocial Recovery Coach who:

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

The Psychosocial Recovery Coach can make a difference in the lives of people facing psychosocial challenges. We’re seeking a dedicated mental health professional to support individuals lead fulfilling lives. Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Support and guide individuals, helping them navigate their journey and work through barriers, engaging supports and using their NDIS plan in the way they would like it used.
  • Foster meaningful and supportive relationships, ensuring they feel understood and valued.
  • Stick by their side in a professional and supportive manner, especially during more challenging times when they need support the most due to the ups and downs of mental health.
  • Collaborate closely with their loved ones and other service providers to create and execute the best support plan.
  • Working with the Managing Director to refine a Recovery Program suitable within the framework of the NDIS and the needs of individuals.

 

ABOUT YOU 

You’re likely what we’re looking for if you:

  • Hold a Diploma in Counselling or Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Mental Health, or have equivalent training.
  • At least two years of experience working in a mental health-related field.
  • You have access to a vehicle to see individuals in the community.
