Ipswich Qld – SUPPORTED PATHWAYS ARE HIRING

Supported Pathways are a small, dedicated and passionate team based in Ipswich QLD. We provide support coordination, specialist support coordination and social work services. We pride ourselves on our knowledge, values, and passion to provide exceptional services to Participants and all stakeholders. Each of our dedicated team members have been working with Supported Pathways between two and five years. This is a stable and happy team and we are seeking someone who will fit in beautifully with our existing team. 

 

NDIS Support Coordinator (SC) – multiple positions on offer

Must be willing to work in an office in Ipswich – working from home is not an option
Ideally, this person will have a sound knowledge of the NDIS
Preferably, this person will have experience working as a Support Coordinator
Supervision and mentoring will be provided to enable you to become the best 
NO overtime or afterhours work required ever
Permanent, full-time position @ $40 per hour offered AFTER successful completion of a 3-month probation period (casual rates @ $37.50 per hour). Superannuation at 11 % on top of hourly rate.,
37.5 hours work week, offered for permanent full time position
All team members are initially hired as casual for a 3 month probation period (probation may be reduced depending on demonstrated skills and passion for the job)
Supervision and mentoring will be provided by very experienced team members, and the Director of Supported Pathways, a Social Worker (of 16 years) who has worked in the NDIS industry (for 6+  years)
Work vehicle available for all home visits and meetings

NDIS Specialist Support Coordinator (SSC) – multiple positions on offer

There are two ways of entering Supported Pathways and working as an SSC

Enter via the Support Coordinator pathway (see above)

Must have an Allied Health professional degree or other type of humanities degree, for example teacher
Probation period and pay level as per the SC pathway applies
Progression pathway will be discussed to enable you to work towards SSC position in a time frame that suits your skills and abilities

Enter as an experienced Specialist Support Coordinator who has been working independently in this role

Preferably, this person will be a degree qualified Social Worker or hold some other humanities degree qualification
Casual probation period applies, however pay rate can be negotiated 
Permanent pay rate will be looking at around $70 per hour 
This position can be tailored to suit a person who is only seeking part time hours
Work vehicle available for all home visits and meetings

 

NDIS Allied Health professional

This person must have a good working knowledge of the NDIS
This person must have an Allied Health university degree + be able to work independently (without the need for supervision)
Must be eligible to register with your own professional body in Australia
Must be able to undertake and complete high-quality assessments and reports as required 
Must be able to work with Participants in their own home to provide one off or ongoing services as required and according to NDIS budgets 
All work conditions are open for discussion, upon booking an appointment and presentation of your skill set and experiences

 

Administration/Reception    3-4 days per week

Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

Switchboard – receiving and transferring calls
General administration tasks including word processing and spreadsheet management
Scanning, Filing and Data Entry
Assisting the Support Coordinators with follow up emails and phone calls and other tasks
Setting up new Participant files
Researching new Support Providers

 

We are seeking a person to fit well within our small team environment who can bring creativity and flexibility to the workplace. You must have the following:

Excellent Computer Skills
Ability to work in a team environment or independently
Enthusiastic and motivated to learn new skills 
Positive attitude, and a wiliness to adapt and take on new tasks as they arise
Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
Blue Card, Yellow Card + Current First Aid and CPR
