About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience of working as a support coordinator or in roles within the DHHS, NDIS Partner or Registered Provider or Allied Health providing services to people with disability
  • Good understanding of the different NDIS legislation and guidelines and how they are applied, components of NDIS Plans and the requirements of NDIS documentation and reporting 
  • Excellent and personable communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Natural research and administration skills including case note writing, accurate record keeping, strong report writing skills and attention to detail
  • Great organisational skills, time management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and establish ongoing rapport, both externally & internally
  • Qualifications or in final year of studying degrees in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Mental Health will be highly regarded

About the role

Working as part of our experienced team at our modern offices in Mulgrave, VIC you will look after your own case load and get to know your clients, their strengths and goals. 

Supporting each client to increase their abilities to navigate the NDIS and access supports that enable them to make decisions about their supports and goals both at home and in the community.

Using your advanced people and communication skills, in the role of Support Coordinator you will engage with a range of people with disability, their families, their representatives and advocates and work alongside our client’s more formal healthcare teams on a day-to-day basis.
