Interested in Low Intensity CBT and would like to support people with mild – moderate mental health disability?
Perfect opportunity for fresh graduates to put their degree into use.
You will be provided certified training into Low Intensity CBT plus ongoing supervision and development opportunity.
You will play an important role in running the New Access Program (Low Intensity CBT) and will be the first point of contact for clients on this program.
You will be responsible for conducting client centred assessments and to identify priorities and risk. You will also be responsible for delivering low intensity CBT and counselling to clients via phone or face-to-face.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Perform client centred assessments for clients with mental health concerns to identify priorities and risk.
- Guide clients through low intensity CBT treatments, including graded exposure, behavioural activation, behavioural experiments, problem-solving and social anxiety programs
- Employing micro-counselling skills to engage with clients both via phone and face to face.
- Monitor client progress through standardised psychological measures.
WHAT TO BRING
- Qualification/under going qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Community Services, Mental Health or related field
- NDIS Worker Screening and WWCC (or willing to get the check)
