What We Provide – Benefits & Work Perks of the New Grad Program
- Our new graduate program runs for 12 months and will provide you with well-rounded knowledge base to set you up for success
- Multidisciplinary program – have a group of supportive peers starting on the same journey as you

- Diversify your skill set, working with both children and adults
- Our workshops will support you to build your confidence as a clinician as well as support you with your non-technical and case management skills.
- 12 weeks of workshops in your first 3 months to help transition from student to professional
- Fortnightly workshops in your second 3 months with input & presentations from peers/New Grads
- Second half of the year covers specific topics identified by the group as requiring further development
- Supervision:
- Weekly clinical supervision for the first 6 months
- Second 6 months access to weekly/fortnightly/monthly supervision (you decide what you need! Programs/trainings will be implemented depending on your required needs)
- Clinical supervision is based on what you need and can include you shadowing your supervisor on their visits, them attending your sessions and reflective discussions etc.

- Professional Development:
- Two Puddles PD days per year, these which include the whole team with topics and trainings presented at external locations
- Monthly therapy team meetings which include trainings/sharing within the team.
- Courses/Training – ongoing training/courses will need to be discussed with team leader/operations manager to approve with no limit on study leave days.
About you
To be part of the team at I Can Jump Puddles it is expected that all team members bring with them passion for their craft, enthusiasm, professionalism, and care.
- Graduated within the last 12 months or by early 2023 – Tertiary qualifications in allied health e.g., Developmental Education, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology Science, Behavioural Science or related discipline and/or Post graduate certificate in Positive Behaviour support
- Willing to apply for registration, with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Current driver’s licence and vehicle or the ability to travel from client to client (we are primarily a mobile service and visit our clients within their chosen environment)
- Compliance – Professional Body Membership, Working with Children Check, NDIS worker screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Valid Australian working rights
- Person-centred approach to your practice, putting our client’s needs and goals first in all that we do.
