Occupational Therapist – New Graduate OTFC Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

An opportunity has opened for an Occupational Therapist who has a passion for paediatric and adolescent OT. If you have a genuine interest in making a meaningful difference in the lives of families – read on.

Where and how you can work.

OTFC Group have been leading the way in occupational therapy for children in South Australia for over 30 years, and we’ve recently expanded our services, and our impact, nationally.

Our work looks like fun, feels like fun, and ends with life-changing outcomes.

Our industry-leading clinic spaces are custom-built and state-of-the-art. When you lay your eyes on them, you’ll understand why ours are the only medical appointments children actually look forward to!

What you’ll be doing in this role.

‘Work’ at OTFC is all about life changing fun, and when you come and work (play) with us, the life-changing doesn’t stop with the children. At the heart of what we do is a team of dedicated OTs, Client Services Officers and corporate staff with a relentless focus on growing together to make an impact.

As an OTFC Occupational Therapist you will:

  • Provide therapy to meet the needs of children in the areas of Autism, motor skills, sensory and emotional regulation, executive functioning, and self-care
  • Work with a varied paediatric caseload (children from birth to adulthood)
  • Liaise directly with clinical staff both formally (supervision) and informally
  • Help the leadership team assess policies and procedures and implement efficient and safe work practices
  • Provide a comprehensive specialist Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) service to all stakeholders within a multi-disciplinary framework across the OTFC site
  • Drive and build a thriving culture which has the wellbeing of our people at the heart of all decisions
  • Support WHS and operational excellence
  • Bring to life new and innovative projects led by community need
  • Have the opportunity to travel nationally for work if desired

You’re a match if you:

  • Hold a Bachelor / Master of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
  • Are registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • Love to play!
  • Hold a current Working with Children and NDIS Worker & Disability clearance

It’s a bonus if you’re certified in Ayres Sensory Integration Therapy – but don’t worry, we can help you!

Why OTFC Group?

It’s hard to explain what makes life at OTFC so special, but we’ve boiled it down to three key ingredients: amazing, talented people, work that is fun, and a values-driven culture that inspires us to do our best work.

One thing is for sure, our unique culture plays a huge role in everything you’ll experience. We’re always looking for new ways to make your life at OTFC truly transformational.

Changing lives motivates us to work hard – and we do – but you’ll experience lots of moments of magic, connectivity and fun woven throughout life at OTFC, too.

We provide an incredible administration and HQ team to induct, train and support you and your administration needs. You provide the best service to your clients and their families, and they take care of everything NDIS, diary, and financial related.

We also offer a stack of benefits to set you up for success in and outside of work. There’s flexible leave options, an inclusive parental leave policy, wellbeing allowances, and regular supervision and mentoring. Explore all that OTFC has to offer: https://otfcgroup.com.au/employee-value-proposition/

Ready to change some lives?

We make hiring decisions based on your experience and skills, but mainly on how passionately you care about enhancing the lives of our clients and our culture.

If this sounds like you, send us a copy of your CV with relevant experience. Bonus points if you drop us a note about why you’re as excited as us about this opportunity!
