About the role:

As a Higher Education Marker for the Bachelor of Community Services, some of your key tasks will include:

  • Evaluating assessment submissions objectively, and according to assessment criteria
  • Providing meaningful and constructive student feedback and that highlight strengths and identify areas for further improvement
  • Maintaining and safeguarding privacy and confidentiality of students’ work
  • Marking assessments in Moodle 
  • Completing all tasks within allocated timeframe

About you

You will have the genuine interest in supporting students and ensuring that they receive an outstanding overall experience. Demonstrated experience in assessment evaluation and the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records are a must for this role.

Other requirements include:

  • Current ABN (must-have)
  • Minimum post-graduate in community services or related welfare discipline, such as social work, counselling, psychology, etc.
  • 3+ years industry experience
  • Experience in using Moodle and/or other relevant student management systems will be highly regarded
  • Must have access to internet and own laptop/ computer device
