Your part in our Lifeline team
Working with teams based all across the state, you will provide leadership and operational management to the State-wide Lifeline Crisis Support and Suicide Prevention Services, investing in the development of the Service Leaders to enable strong business performance.
You will advocate person-centred practice and will ensure exceptional service delivery and community engagement that is facilitated by systems and practices focussed on community needs.
Both highly strategic and operational, your role will be responsible for the planning and implementation of program change; while supporting the State-Wide Manager in identifying opportunities for program growth, service development and innovation. You will ensure strong financial sustainability through effective budget management.
What makes a difference for us?
With extensive mental health, suicide prevention and leadership experience, you will have a solid knowledge of the key elements of Lifeline Operations and a professional understanding of individual and community needs regarding crisis intervention and suicide prevention. Your experience has equipped you with strong people engagement skills and contemporary industry practices, with a passion for leading change and innovation.
Supplementing this you will present with the following:
- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field (Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health)
- Demonstrated experience in managing a large operational team
- Significant community mental health and suicide prevention experience
- Demonstrated financial capability in managing operational budgets
- Ability to identify community needs and plan community engagement strategies
- Practical experience navigating relevant legislative frameworks, including a knowledge of RTO legislation, policy and requirements
- Drivers Licence
- Positive Blue Card
- Positive Police History Check
We are flexible with basing this opportunity throughout Queensland. Some travel required across Queensland.
