About this role:
This position will support and work alongside women and children who are escaping family or domestic violence in an empathetic, timely and effective manner. You will support and mentor the client base, offer life skills education & safety plan development, and provide a holistic, wrap-around service for the client.
You will be trained to work across several of our Family & Domestic Violence Support services.
Hours: 4 days per week
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Support clients with a person centered approach
- Provide services with empathy and compassion
- Effective communication in the workplace
- Positive work ethic and commitment to the organisation
- Complete clear documentation, case management and case note writing
- Work across other Family & Domestic Violence areas
Skills and experience:
- Certificate III in community services (or willing to obtain) or relevant experience in the industry.
- Knowledge of Family & Domestic Violence and the impacts and effects on victim survivors.
- Computer literacy skills
- Knowledge of Wheatbelt towns (travel is required)
- Drivers license
- Vaccinations Current
