Next year we will have a team of four occupational therapists and we are looking for one more special team member to join our growing OT Division. If you have at least 1 year experience working within a private practice and working with children and youth we are interested in you!
We are developing this role and it can be a combination of in clinic work, school visits and or home visits. We are after a professional that is accountable, energetic, enthusiastic and innovative Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with young children, children, and youth.

Position: Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Employment Type: Full Time or Part-time. Flexible Options available for right candidate. Also Saturday options available for those interested in working every second Saturday (desirable). We also have positions for those just wanting to work Saturday’s 🙂

Your work role will include helping our clients with some of the below areas:
- In clinic work, school visits and home visits (for those interested)
- Sensory challenges & interventions eg., alert program or other programs.
- Social and emotional difficulties
- Learning difficulties
- Behavioural difficulties
- Emotional and social challenges
- Motor skill development
- Handwriting
- Toileting
- Feeding (SOS desirable)
- Executive function
- Working with our amazing neurodivergent clients!
- Interventions for working with paediatric population
- Experience working with clients under Medicare and NDIS
- Assessment including Functional Capacity Assessments, Sensory Profile Assessments, and Handwriting Assessments.
- Help with development of OT Resources
Skills & Qualifications
- Blue Card
- Full Registration with AHPRA as an OT
- Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents and families
- Proven knowledge of NDIS and Medicare
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Report Writing Skills
- Understanding of Code of Ethics relevant to your professional
- Understanding of legal issues relating to working with youth and families.
