The Rainbow Clinic is a private integrated health practice based in Charlestown NSW.

We are looking for a passionate Paediatric Psychologist to join our expanding multi-disciplinary team.

The position involves working with children and young adults with varying conditions including Autism, Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Behavioural Difficulties, Mood Disorders, Trauma and Learning Disorders.

Essential criteria:

  • Fully Registered with AHPRA
  • Willingness to be on the road (own car) and current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Eligibility for registration as a Medicare Provider

Key selection criteria include:

  • Ability to administer Neuropsychological Assessments such as ADOS or WISC-V or a willingness to attain these skills.
  • Enjoy working with children and passionate about a family-centred approach.
  • Use individualised treatment approaches grounded in evidence which incorporate fun, innovation and creativity. 
  • Excellent report writing skills and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and effective caseload management skills.
  • Equally effective working both independently and with a team
  • Current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening check and first aid certificate.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to continuing professional education and evidence-based practice.
