Main Purpose of the Job
This position is to implement therapy plans as designed by a qualified and registered Counsellor. This role also includes collating client details for reports, general clinic responsibilities and tasks as delegated by a therapist.
Position Overview
- Ensuring a high quality of evidence-based and ethical care is provided to clients of our service
- Support therapists to manage a diverse caseload of client care
- Documentation, report writing, and data collation
- Providing feedback on client progress to the treating therapist
- Running groups and programs
- Contribute to goal development (where possible) within a multi-disciplinary team
- Positively promoting Counselling and Counselling services at Spring Forward Family Centre
- Actively engage in weekly Counselling supervision and professional development
Minimum Required Education/Training
- Experience working with kids
- A ECEC diploma or studying Counselling, Psychology or a related degree/certification
- Working with children check (paid)
- Police check – clear
- First aid certificate
- NDIS Worker Number
- CPR
