Main Purpose of the Job

This position is to implement therapy plans as designed by a qualified and registered Counsellor. This role also includes collating client details for reports, general clinic responsibilities and tasks as delegated by a therapist. 

Position Overview

  • Ensuring a high quality of evidence-based and ethical care is provided to clients of our service
  • Support therapists to manage a diverse caseload of client care
  • Documentation, report writing, and data collation
  • Providing feedback on client progress to the treating therapist
  • Running groups and programs 
  • Contribute to goal development (where possible) within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Positively promoting Counselling and Counselling services at Spring Forward Family Centre
  • Actively engage in weekly Counselling supervision and professional development 

Minimum Required Education/Training 

  • Experience working with kids
  • A ECEC diploma or studying Counselling, Psychology or a related degree/certification  
  • Working with children check (paid)
  • Police check – clear
  • First aid certificate
  • NDIS Worker Number
  • CPR
