About You

  • You have extensive high level experience in the provision of Senior Administrative support in a large complex healthcare organisation and a current NSW Drivers Licence.
  • You have demonstrated effective communication including verbal, written and interpersonal skills and information technology skills to provide complex specialty services in mental health practice
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Workers. Registered Nurse requires a relevant post registration qualification and at least 5 years’ experience working in the clinical area of the post graduate qualification

What you’ll be doing

The Pathways to Community Living Initiative (PCLI) is a coordinated state-wide approach to supporting people with enduring and serious mental illness who have been hospitalised in a mental health inpatient unit for more than 12 months to, wherever possible, re-establish their lives in the community. 
 
The senior clinician will work in partnership and as a consultant to mental health service managers and multidisciplinary mental health teams to provide a collaborative approach to development of models, pathways and access to clinical care through PCLI within the CCLHD geographic region.  The position will develop partnerships with community managed organisations, primary health care and other government and non-government organisations and will promote seamless integration and coordination of day to day work practices.
 
This role is suitable for the following:

  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
  • Social Worker Level 3
  • Occupational Therapist Level 3
  • Psychologist
  • Snr Psychologist
