Patrol Worker
South Burnett CTC’s Safe Haven program provides services tailored to meet the specific needs of the Cherbourg community. As part of this program, the Community Patrol provides a prevention and intervention service addressing the safety and wellbeing of young people found wandering the streets of Cherbourg at night. Safe Haven Community Patrol currently operates Wednesday and Thursday (4:30pm to 1:00am) and Friday and Saturday (5:30pm to 2:00am).
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking passionate team members who have the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong relationships and the ability to positively interact and engage with all children, young people and family groups within the Cherbourg community
- Demonstrated skills in maintaining personal safety and the safety of colleagues and client through understanding and responding to indicators of risk
- Working with Children Blue Card
- Queensland Driver’s Licence
- First Aid and CPR Certificates
