About the Role
- Part-Time Permanent (0.6 FTE)
- Classification: Consumer Service Delivery Level 4, with a salary range of $93,959 – $98,207 pro rata per annum + Superannuation
- Salary Packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
- Location: Southern Wellbeing Hub, Morphett Vale SA.

About your new role
The Peer Support Lead is an exciting opportunity for a practice leader to deliver high quality services to consumers presenting to the Southern Wellbeing Hub for mental health support. The Peer Support Lead is an integral member of the team drawing on their own experiences combined with practice knowledge and wisdom, including the knowledge and experience of the National Lived Experience (Peer) Workforce Development Guidelines, to support and develop peer support worker (PSW) services.

What you will bring to the role?
- Lived experience of mental illness and/or of life changing challenges and a demonstrated experience of recovery
- Experience of the public or private mental health system
- A Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work (highly desired)
- Experience in managing teams within the area of community service delivery or providing supervision OR Alternative training or experience as a Peer Worker, OR A Mental Health (or equivalent Human Services or Community Services) qualification of Certificate IV level or above
What the role requires:
- National Criminal History Check (Police check) – disclosable outcomes considered
- Current Working with Children Check required before commencement of work
- Current Drivers licence
- Australian Working Rights
