Your lived experience becomes a source of strength, instilling hope and confidence in others on their recovery journey. This is a 2-month casual contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize lived experience to instill hope and confidence in individuals facing mental health crises.
- Build trusting relationships with guests, offering emotional support and problem-solving strategies.
- Collaborate with local services, ensuring seamless referrals and holistic guest support.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Qualifications:
- The lived experience of mental illness, mental health crisis, or caring for someone with mental illness.
- Experience within the mental health system.
- Computer literacy and strong communication skills.
- Mental Health Qualification: Certificate IV level or above (or commitment to complete within 2 years).
