Perinatal Emotional Health Program Senior Clinician (PHEP)

  • $47.99 – $54.71
  • Currently operating on a Monday to Friday roster, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm though this may change to meet service needs
  • Great opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of Mental Health Clinicians working within the community teams in Warragul and Wonthaggi 

 

Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for an appropriately qualified Mental Health Clinician to join our Perinatal Emotional Health Program working on a fixed termpart time basis.

 

Warragul and Wonthaggi Community Mental Health provides the opportunity to join growing Community Mental Health teams in an idyllic environment of country or coastal Gippsland.  

 

The Perinatal Emotional Health Program Senior Clinician is responsible for:

  • providing early interventions for women at risk of experiencing perinatal mental health problems
  • undertaking assessment, treatment planning and brief evidenced based intervention

 

Clinicians are responsible for supporting services working with women and families in the perinatal period, providing secondary consultation, opportunities for upskilling, and refinement of referral pathways.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Registered Nurse with post graduate qualification in mental health, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist registered with APHRA or Social Worker eligible for membership of AASW
  • Experience in treatment interventions appropriate to perinatal depression or other disorders and experience working with infants and mothers. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
