The Counselling and Psychotherapy Program is looking for

a Placement Coordinator

 

  • Continuing (0.6 – 1 FTE negotiable)
  • Level B/C depending on experience 
  • Based in Hawthorn East (main site)

About you:

We are seeking a friendly and adaptable placement coordinator to work in the Counselling and Psychotherapy program. This role offers the candidate an interesting mix of work within a friendly competent team and can also include opportunities to work across research and teaching. 

 

Primarily, the appointee will co-ordinate and secure placements in counselling and psychotherapy for students enrolled in the Graduate Diploma and Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

 

To be considered for this role you will be student-focused and hold the following: 

 

  • Tertiary qualification (preferably Masters or above) in psychology, or counselling and psychotherapy, 
  • AHPRA registered psychologist or PACFA/ACA registered counsellor/psychotherapist. 

It is desirable but not essential for applicants who are psychologists to hold Psychology Board of Australia Board Approved Supervisor status.
