We have outstanding opportunities for Melbourne-based PBS clinicians to join our dynamic clinical team.
About the role
We are looking for experienced clinicians who will be responsible for:
- undertaking a range of comprehensive assessments for people with disabilities.
- developing and/or implementing multi-element behaviour support plans
- working closely with families, residential and community support staff and other critical stakeholders as well as directly with the individuals when required.
- developing and delivering high-quality training programs
- project work that encourages and evaluates the role of PBS across the human service sector.
This role is unique – We offer a 9 day working fortnight for full-timers, and set realistic client engagement expectations. You will work alongside an experienced team of professionals and be provided regular support, supervision, and opportunities for professional development.
About you
You will have the following (key selection criteria):
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, related behavioural sciences and / or substantial experience within the human services sector.
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and skills in the area of Positive Behaviour Support. Skills should align with the NDIS Commission’s criteria for a Proficient or Advanced Practitioner.
- Ability to work autonomously whilst maintaining professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to lead change at the individual and organisational level.
- Ability to consult and liaise with others, including individuals, their families, health and welfare professionals and community groups.
- Strong commitment to person-centred practice, and experience in working with and advocating for those with unique needs.
- High level communication skills including computer literacy, written skills, and experience in group facilitation/public speaking.
Early years professional pathways will be considered if the candidate has relevant professional experience. We have experienced Psychologists, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists who can provide supervision as necessary.
Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Australian residents or right to work in Australia.
- Working with Children’s check.
- Current Driver’s licence.
- Registration with a relevant professional body (AHPRA or AASW etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to maintain home office requirements.
