Working either full time or part time as Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with Early Start Australia you will be a part of a knowledgeable and dedicated transdisciplinary clinical team that provides evidence-based assessment and therapy to a mixed paediatric caseload. 

Bring your expertise as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to our modern clinic.

The opportunity includes (but not limited to):

  • Evidence-based treatment and intervention of mental health disorders affecting children and young people
  • Develop and implement a tailored therapy program
  • Review and prepare for new client assessments based on referral information and client questionnaires
  • Provide early intervention and therapy services to support children and families, maximising independence and participation
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate Positive Behaviour interventions based on an individual’s sensory, cognitive and physical needs in collaboration with the individuals, families and relevant others

 What you will bring:

  • Have a tertiary degree that is OT, SP, SW, Psychologist, BCBA Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA or other relevant body
  • Proficient or Advanced PBS Practitioner 
  • Experience in working with children and/or disability and confidence in your role with children and their parents
  • Exceptional communication and inter-personal skills, to support for a culturally diverse environment
  • Passion for making a difference with a focus on making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for families!
  • Compliance – Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check,, First Aid Training, Driver’s License & Vehicle.
