JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Positive Behaviour Practitioner to join our team in Australia. As a remote PBSP professional, you will play a pivotal role in promoting positive behavior strategies and fostering a supportive environment for individuals across diverse settings. Your responsibilities will include conducting functional behavior assessments, developing individualized behavior support plans, and providing training to caregivers, educators, and support staff. This role requires a deep understanding of positive behavior interventions, familiarity with the Australian cultural context, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders remotely. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs while demonstrating a competitive edge in delivering innovative and effective positive behavior support solutions

REQUIRED:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders remotely.
  • Ability to adapt strategies to the Australian cultural context and diverse community needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, showcasing a competitive edge in delivering innovative positive behavior support solutionsProvide early intervention and therapy services to support children and families, maximising independence and participation
  • Able assess, plan, implement and evaluate Positive Behaviour interventions based on an individual’s sensory, cognitive and physical needs in collaboration with the individuals, families and relevant others
  • Ability to work closely with families having Autistic children (2 to 15 years)
  • PBSP/BSP certification is mandatory.
  • Have unlimited work rights in Australia.
  • NDIS Worker Clearance preferred
