As a contractor, you will be able to work flexibly and determine your work hours and days – from 10 hours per week up to full-time.

You will have full control to organise your week and how it best suits your work style.

The role:

An exciting opportunity exists for experienced Therapists to join one of Victoria’s leading NDIS providers. We offer our participants experienced disability support and home care services that are tailored to their individual needs. Due to our rapid growth and continued client needs for dedicated professional support, we are now expanding our team and will continue to hire the best available talents residing in Australia. The successful candidate/s will be welcomed into our professional and friendly team that actively cultivates a positive and supportive working environment together.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the purpose of the role is to provide positive behaviour support for NDIS participants with an intellectual or cognitive disability, who can exhibit severely challenging behaviours.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Sciences, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Behavioural Sciences or a similar field (required)
  • AHPRA registered Psychologist, professional registration for each discipline.
  • Three years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Counselling experience using CBT, DBT, person-centred and trauma-informed approaches 
  • Understanding of restrictive practices and writing interim and comprehensive reports under current NDIS guidelines. 
  • Car and license (required)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one before commencement (required)
  • All appointments are subject to NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
