PRACTICE LEAD – BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT
Salary: $115,000 – $120,000 + Super + Salary Packaging
Location: Brisbane, QLD
Working closely with Team and Practice Leaders you will have responsibility for all Specialist Behaviour Support delivered by a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners. As a Senior Leader within the Specialist NDIS leadership team your role will involve modelling our leadership values and engaging our people and clients in a transforming environment to be the best they can be and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for all components of Behaviour Support delivery including mentoring your team and ensuring services are delivered to NDIS participants according to best clinical practice and within the scope of each person’s plan.
- Represent Community Solutions as the point of contact for the NDIA, the Office of the Public Guardian and other key government entities.
- Drive a culture of clinical excellence with strategies informed by evidence and a reliance on quality data.
- Implement a process of continuous improvement through which incidents are reviewed and PBSPs are scored with feedback provided in a timely way.
- Ensure all services are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements including the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators and the Queensland Disability Services Act 2006.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy or similar areas of Social and Behavioural Sciences
- Looking for Psych/Social Work/Counselling/Applied Behaviour Analysis/OT or similar
- Must have strong NDIS experience
- Strong leadership experience needed
- Must have been assessed as ‘Advanced Level’ in Behaviour Support.
- The person would also need to have Behaviour Support experience because they will be leading a behaviour support practice
- Will need Blue Card, NDIS and needs to be triple vaccinated against COVID-19
