On behalf of a reputable and well established Disability Service Provider and not for profit organisation in Inner Brisbane. We are actively recruiting a Practice Lead to support delivery including mentoring your team and ensuring services are delivered to NDIS participants according to best clinical practice. The Behaviour Support provided to clients is focused on supporting and training to people with disability and their support networks to improve their wellbeing, quality of life and reduce challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for all components of Behaviour Support and Clinical Services delivery including mentoring your team and ensuring services are delivered to NDIS participants according to best clinical practice and within the scope of each person’s plan
- Be the point of contact for providers, the NDIA, Quality and Safeguards Commission and the OPG
- Mentoring Team Leaders reporting to you, creating a positive team culture and working together to meet targets whilst ensuring best practice
- Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders including clients, their families, guardians and all staff
About You
- Completed Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or similar disciplines
- Registration with professional body AHPRA or AASW
- Strong demonstrated leadership, mentoring and coaching experience in similar role
- Experience writing Positive Behaviour Support Plans
- Commitment to the highest possible quality on providing positive behaviour support and the ability to communicate that to their team
- Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or Visa with permission to work
- A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker’s Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- A current and valid Driver’s Licence
- Willingness to undertake a “Fit2Work” Police Check
- Proof of Covid Vaccination including booster.
