We seek an enthusiastic Family Services Practitioner to join our dedicated and supportive team based in our Wodonga or Wangaratta offices.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Team Leader Family Services, the successful candidate will provide support services to families enabling them to promote the safety, stability and development of infants, children and young people. You will provide complex case work with children and families to build capacity and enable sustainable change and positive family functioning.

About You

To be eligible to apply for this position, you’ll require a tertiary qualification in Social work or equivalent, as well as demonstrated experience working with families. We’re seeking a candidate who can apply strength-based assessments to family situations and engage and work with complex family situations.

Experienced candidates, and graduates, are both welcome to apply.

All candidates will need to possess or be able to obtain prior to commencement:

  • Working with Children Check – Victoria and NSW
  • Satisfactory National Police Check
  • Current driver’s licence 

Importantly, you will be a team player with strong communication skills, highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and good levels of resilience. This role requires you to manage competing priorities and interact with people with a range of abilities and needs.
