Program Coordinator/Educator/Counsellor – Youth Mental Health G P down south

JOB DESCRIPTION

Mandurah – 45 hours per fortnight (0.60FTE)

An exciting opportunity exists for a Program Coordinator, Counsellor and Educator for our 3 Tier Mental Health program. 

You will be responsible for providing a broad range of services including the coordination of mental health assessments, collaborating across clinical teams, counselling sessions to young people, using a range of evidence based programs. The successful applicant will hold a tertiary qualification in nursing, psychology, social work, counselling or other relevant profession. 

You will require an understanding of and experience in delivering mental health awareness and education sessions (focusing on youth) to the wider community as well as participating in the planning, evaluation and regular reporting of program outcomes. Demonstrated strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills to help build collaborative relationships to achieve organisation objectives will be an advantage. 

Employment is on a fixed term, part time basis, until 30 June 2023 with commencement as soon as possible. There may be an opportunity for extension to funding arrangements beyond this date.
