Program Coordinator – WWFPP – Based in Katherine, NT Wurli-Wurlinjang Health Service

JOB DESCRIPTION

Wurli-Wurlinjang Family Partnership Program (WWFPP), is a collaboration between Australian Nurse Family Partnership Program (ANFPP) National Program Centre and the Commonwealth Department of Health and Wurli. ANFPP is an evidence-based home visiting program with a focus on early intervention and prevention of physical and emotional risk and issues for women pregnant with an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander baby. 

The WWFPP Program Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing planning, implementation, establishment, delivery, monitoring review and reporting of the Australian Nurse-Family Partnership Program for Wurli. 

 The program has a support team of Nurse Home Visitors and Community Family Partnership Workers who provide home visits that encompass ANFPP Program domains of:-

  • Personal Health
  • Environmental Health
  • Life Course Development
  • Maternal role
  • Family and friends
  • Health and human services

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications – Essential:

  • Completed Bachelor of Nursing.
  • Experience in a Supervisory/Leadership position

Desired:

  • Clinical nursing practice experience of 5+ years minimum. 
  • Previous experience with the ANFPP program
