Your Role:
We are looking for a motivated, Program Director to develop a new Clubhouse in Chermside, Brisbane. Work side by side with the CEO, staff and Clubhouse members to establish the new Clubhouse.
What You’ll Do:
As the Clubhouse Program Director, you’ll lead the establishment, growth, and operation of our new Clubhouse on Brisbane Northside. Your role involves:
- Setting up the premises while implementing operational structures and policies.
- Building a vibrant community and raising the public profile of the Clubhouse by forging networks, partnerships, and referral pathways.
- Championing a recovery-focused service model that places members at the heart of their journey, aligned with Clubhouse principles.
- Guiding, supervising and supporting a team of mental health Support Workers.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A proven track record in leadership and staff management, coupled with designing and delivering effective training.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining partnerships, along with fostering relationships with stakeholders and supporters.
- Exceptional critical, analytical, and organisational skills, with a history of implementing innovative service quality monitoring systems.
- A solid understanding of the Clubhouse International Model and its integration with modern elements like NDIS and emerging funding opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report compilation for diverse audiences.
- Experience in person-centered recovery principles, particularly with individuals facing serious mental health challenges.
